Air Max SNDR
We collaborated with the Nike Paris team to prototype a version of the Nike Air Max SNDR for an installation during the June 2024 Paris Fashion Week.
We were tasked with creating a prototype for the "Who am I?" section of the installation, set within an immersive corridor adorned with visuals depicting the adventures the SNDR could have experienced during the years it was not on sale, as if it was living its own life and exploring the world.
In the real world, this corresponded to the period from 2010-2019, formative years for me as I transitioned from youth to young adulthood. During this time, I was particularly interested in anime and Japanese media, such as the Blue-Eyed Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh and the Bit Beast Dragoon from Beyblade. That was the inspiration for this prototype.
